建築は風景の一部ですが、ランドスケープデザインは風景と建築を繋ぎ、魅力的な場をつくり出します。JA98号ではこのランドスケープデザインをテーマにしました。豊かな環境は建築家やランドスケープデザイナーがその場所に積極的に関わることで生み出されていきます。そして、その環境を維持し続けるには、使い手や住まい手、その場所に関わる人たちの眼差しも必要になります。魅力的な場を生み出し育む……、建築とその周りを改めて眺めてみました。
